La Mesange Bed and Breakfast near golf courses in Deauville and Cabourg, Golf Competition in Normandy, France

This superb original Normandy Colombage house allows you to spend a wonderful holiday in Pays D’Auge area, not far from Deauville.  Set in grounds of 5 hectacres and forest with a small five hole golf course.
 
We have four themed guest rooms (The Mountain, The Music, The Sea and The Countryside, all with views of the countryside and our golf course, and all with shower rooms or bathrooms.  
 
The Mountain is a suite four 2 to 4 people and is equipped with WIFI and a welcome basket. 

Wonderful breakfasts, with our home made jams, served either in our salon with open fire place or on our outside terrace, will prepare you for your day ahead.   

On site, you can practice your golf on our small golf course before heading off to several great golf courses in the area.

Our Golf Competition:

Our golf competition is in its second year (9 holes) of the Mésange. Reserved to our guests. It will take place between 30 May and the 4th of October 2009. First prize is a night at la Mésange.
 
Saint Julien sur Calonne Golf Course (27 holes) 20 minutes  
Lucien Barriere has transformed this excellent parkland layout into a much better quality course. Big changes to the design and layout make it one of the best now in Normandy. The greens as always are first class and fast!
 
Saint Gatien Golf Course ( 27 holes),  
This friendly parkland course is located on highland looking out over the Le Havre Estuary. It's a picturesque layout with 5 or 6 hilly holes, generous fairways and the best clubhouse ambience in the area. We highly recommend the buffet lunch!

New Golf Deauville 27 holes
27 Holes of superb parkland golf and ranked in Normandy's top 3. Originally designed by Tom Simpson with Henry Cotton adding the Blue nine. Stunning views across the Channel. Not easy to book on weekends in main season.

Cabourg Golf Course 18 holes
The Cabourg golf course is now back in among the big classics of the game in France. The course begins with 157 meters (par 3) in scenery that reminds you of Ballybunion. At the sixteenth (167 meters, par 3) you must play a green on the top of a high dune among the beach grass and the bushes, where you see the beach and the whole resort.

Houlgate Golf Course 18 holes
It is very varied course, each hole being technically different but all complementing each other. Some holes go uphill, others go downhill, like the 15th hole, an exceptional par 5 that offers incredible views over the Channel. The setting is unique, very orchard-like.

If you are a beginner we have clubs for you and can help you with an initiation course.

Boules Court (petanque) to relax.  Two different walking or cycling circuits start at our Domaine and bicycles are available.

Nearby you can visit Normandy manor house, cider and calvados distilleries, where you can taste the products and also the local cheeses. 

We are close to Lisieux (10kms) and only 18 kms from the zoological park, Le Cerza.

Cabourg with its beaches is just 35 minutes away and the famous town of Honfleur only 45 minutes.  D day beaches are also within easy reach.
